Who We Are

Food Pantry and Utilities Assistance

Wilmington Friends Meeting provides members of the Wilmington community emergency food aid and financial assistance with utility bills. Contact the meeting office for more details.

Support for Wider Quaker Ministries

Wilmington Friends Meeting supports Wilmington Yearly Meeting and Friends United Meeting. These organizations in turn support ministries locally (Quaker Knoll Camp), nationally and internationally (Ramallah Friends Schools, Friends Theological College, Lugulu Mission Hospital and more).

Clinton County Adult Day Center

The meetinghouse is the home of the Clinton County Adult Day Center, which provides a safe and enjoyable place for elderly and disabled members of the community to stay while their caregivers attend to other responsibilities.

Support for Your Father’s Kitchen

Members of Wilmington Friends Meeting have taken responsibility for staffing Your Father’s Kitchen on the first Saturday of every month. Your Father’s Kitchen is a program of Sugartree Ministries.

Local Housing Ministries

Wilmington Friends Meeting founded and continues to play a role in organizations that provide housing for elderly and low income individuals in Wilmington and Blanchester. Quaker Apartments and Prairie View Apartments are among the facilities that are part of this network.

Youth Ministries

Wilmington Friends Meeting is committed to providing activities for its youth that will enable their personal and spiritual growth. Children and teenagers regularly play leadership roles during worship, serving as ushers, worship leaders, musicians, and even preachers!

Quaker Breakers

Volunteers help meeting members and others relocate their belongings to a new residence.
